We operate free clothing closets to keep maternity clothing in circulation while reducing textile waste.

How it Works

Take a thread: Browse through the clothing closet and take anything you need! Please no resale; return the clothes to the closet or pass them along to someone else when you no longer need them.

Leave a thread: To donate maternity and/or nursing clothing, simply leave it in the shed or, if it’s too full, leave it on the porch of 6905 Poplar Ave, TKPK.

Due to limited space, we can only accept:

  • Maternity and nursing clothing - all sizes and seasons

  • Nursing bras

  • Breast pumps with parts

  • Baby bottles

    Please do not leave pregnancy/nursing pillows, baby clothing, or anything else not listed above.

Currently, we operate one maternity clothing closet in the driveway of 6905 Poplar Ave, Takoma Park, MD.
